Do you ever get black rings under your eyes in the summer from your mascara running? Have you tried several waterproof mascara’s and still can’t seem to find the right one? Are you ready to try an alternative to mascara, but still want your eyelashes to look amazing?
I got just the thing for you…
You will need the following:
- Eyelash Curler
- Disposable Mascara Wands (at any Beauty Supply Store)
- Cake Eyeliner (Laura Mercier and Studio Gear)
- Vaseline (any Drugstore)
First of all if you are not using an eyelash curler run out and buy one right away. I personally like Shu uemura brand, however you should find one that fits your eye contour for best results. Your eyelash curler should add lift and curl to your upper eye lashes, if not keep looking.
If you have dark eyelashes like I do you can just coat your mascara wand with Vaseline and apply as you do your regular mascara. If your lashes are lighter and you prefer to have them tinted then skip the Vaseline and wet your cake liner and roll your mascara wand in the wet liner (make sure your mascara wand is coated completely but not dripping). Then apply to your lashes as you would your regular mascara.
To add a little more fullness to the base of your lashes I would recommend using a smudge proof eyeliner and gently apply it through the base of your eye lashes. This is a little bit different than giving yourself eyeliner because your are applying it between your lashes not on top of your lashes. This makes your lashes appear fuller than they really are.
